The beginning

Three years have passed since that moment.

The emotion that I felt at that moment is one of those that very rarely occur in life. When effort, dedication and perseverance bear fruit, and the stated objective is achieved.

When I entered that page and saw my result, it was very rewarding, and an immense joy invaded my whole being. After so many months of preparation of sleepless nights, studying, etc. Finally he had achieved it.

I was already a cougar. It was already from UNAM

Although I confess that I went all the way to high school, I never imagined I would stay in high school, which was the one that made the most demands and which is supposed to be the highest academic level; however, I got it one way or another.

From the first moment I set foot in that place I knew that now I was really beginning to build my future

However, the hopelessness was great when in my first year the results were not as expected and were the product of responsibility and a sickly pride that prevented me from seeing what I was letting go and that was a disdain to all the effort made to obtain a place in the UNAM

I paid the consequences in my second year and this left me with a very big footprint that taught me and helped me to put my feet on the ground.

And now in my last year I am proud of everything that has happened in high school and I know that the experience I have will be useful for me when I enter the faculty

Friendships

Throughout my stay in high school I have met many people and with some of them I started a friendship

However my first friends, the fourth year have a special place in my heart, because, with them I lived very parental things and, although after that year and we were never together again, we have maintained contact and closeness

Everyone walks on the path they want and have chosen, and for me that is very rewarding. The fact that they do not conform only to the school, but that they look for other places and activities that help them complement their training

The friendship we build is strong and I am confident that we will be seeing each other after high school

One week we have left and I know that wherever we go, we will take with us the memories of all the moments we spent together and those days of class

Fifth year

This year for me was very important and very important and it marked my way of thinking

It came from a disastrous fourth year that led me to recursar two subjects

The group that touched me was the 503 considered the heaviest of all the fifth year and boy was it. You found teachers like Luis Enrique, Jasso, Calderón and Cosme, who knows they are good but the workload is very large

Added to all the above, the recursion limited me a lot of time and the load increased to double

It was nine months of intense work and in the end the effort and dedication paid off. I returned to being a regular student and could now focus fully on the last year of high school. What I did

In terms of fifth year interaction, he left me great friends and great friends. We were a truly united group and that can be seen in the closeness that is still maintained by the members who were part of it.

I will always carry in my memory all those with whom I had to share a classroom in those years

I found a family

Although I previously spoke about my room friends (whom I love and appreciate a lot), I must also mention the preparatory debate to the delegation (ONU-Coyote).

The team already has more than 5 years of life but is very little known by the community and that is why I joined him at the beginning of this school year and in just a few months we managed to form a very solid and united group that we could qualify as a family

We have already attended more than 5 United Nations models and together we have grown a lot as people and as students

Although the team has had its failures and many colleagues got off the boat for whatever their reasons. A select group of sixth we stayed and I feel that this prevented the team from suffering a setback that will never recover and that also helped to strengthen and consolidate relations between its members

I am proud to have been part of this great family, with whom I spent unforgettable moments that I will never forget. I hope that future generations will be interested in these types of activities and that they will not let the team die

Teamwork

During this school year I was fortunate to have a wonderful work group with whom I shared more than half of the school projects

Those people with whom I worked have all my appreciation and affection I have learned a lot from them. Well they say that the one with wolves is going to howl is taught and when you get together with good and very intelligent people something stays with you

Although he accepted that he could have given more of me I leave with the satisfaction that he works and there was never a reproach towards me for not having complied

It was months to leave a job and sleepless nights but in the end the fruits of that effort and dedication are seeing in this end of school year

Wherever I go in these people I wish them the greatest success and that they achieve everything they propose.

Touching new horizons

This year was very active in many aspects, but there are two specific moments that decided what I currently want to do and reaffirmed the way forward

The first one was IUSMUN 2018, the first model I attended and where I had the honor to debate in a historic committee (The French National Convention). It was a wonderful experience to be a lover and passionate about history

The second one was SENADOMUN 2019, that although I did not register as a debater, I worked as a diplomatic assistant and in the end I was able to debate as an emerging member of the flagship committee of the model that was the Chamber of Senators.

This last one opened so many doors to me, that today I had an explosion in my political education and it has led me to meet incredible people and be part of incredible projects such as the Debate and Oratory Workshop Porfirio Muñoz Ledo that took held in the Chamber of Deputies and School of Politicians that took place in the Senate of the Republic

Both events allowed me to get to know in a very close way several actors of national politics; as well as being able to talk with them.

In the same way, it led me to form a work team with which I hope to achieve great things

                       

The last picture. The last great memory

On March 22nd it was the taking of the photograph for my group and it is worth noting that it was the last

The last big time you'll see all your schoolmates dressed formally: men in suits and women in dresses

The last time you will take countless photos doing crazy things and laughing, remembering everything that happened during that year

I have always said that I like these dates very much because it is like a day of disguise but elegant. Why? Because dressed like that, you can imagine yourself in the future when you have finished studying the academic path and are immersed in the world of work.

In a few years when we look back and see those pictures will come to us many memories full of nostalgia and joy of all those great moments that we spent

To my teachers

Throughout these years I have had many teachers and in many I will remember them and I will carry them in my heart with much affection

They have helped in a very significant way to my academic training and made me fall in love with the subjects they taught, although there were others that generated a lack of interest in their subjects but that were part of this path and that is why I will be very grateful.

I took many of their teachings to the faculty, they showed me a part of the world and of human knowledge that I did not know and ignored

They aroused in me the flame of curiosity and taught me not to conform as they gave me but to investigate and discover on my own

Those hours of class have a great meaning for me that there is no doubt about that

To me University

I never imagined that the UNAM did not offer so many things. Although I knew the freedom that the university offers to all students ignored all the wealth it has for all of us

From the research to the humanities at the UNAM, it has a lot of activities and it is necessary that we make the most of them

The university is a very important institution for the development of the country and everything it offers is aimed at increasing and strengthening incentive our curiosity activity and confidence

She has seen great figures pass through her corridors through her corridors and classrooms and each generation that passes through them is a new opportunity for the country's progress

While each of us as individuals seek our own personal aspirations we must not forget what the University and Mexico gave us

I will always be a son of UNAM and at some point in my life I will return everything she gave me. It ended with a quote from Dr. José Narro, former rector of the University:

"The UNAM geographically goes from A to Z from Aguascalientes to Zacatecas from acting to zootechnics"

Three years have passed since that moment when I set foot in high school

Many things have changed. People change. We are not the same as before. And for better or for worse, what we have done in high school has helped us grow as people and as citizens

When I entered I thought I could eat the world by myself, and the lesson that life gave me was very hard. My pride prevented me from seeing what really mattered

In these three years not only reaffirm the way forward, but I was able to participate in activities aimed at what I like and love.

And although at this stage of life I have met people with whom I would like to continue collaborating and keep in my life, something of what I learned is not to cling to it because we never know if we will continue together

I have to go. I will go only by the path that I have proposed and although at some point teamwork is necessary, nobody follows the path of another. Everyone goes alone for their goals

I will not rest until I achieve my goals. I will not stop fighting. I go with everything and everything
